Today was the best Barnsley performance in ages, and the one main difference was that the spoilt little lovely person was nowhere to be seen. Since Anfield he's had a chip on his shoulder and thinks that he's a "big fish" when in fact he has gone missing in games way too often, goals have dried up and don't get me started with the attritude problem.

If he was as good as he thinks he is, a premier league side would have snapped him up when in fact we had 0 offers for him despite the OPR/Blades rumours.

If we get 500 grand for him in January - it's 500 grand more than we'd get in the summer when his contract expires.

This lads got a touch of Chris Shuker syndrome.

Now **** off to Bramall Lane, the manager is in charge not the player. Im not a fan of SD but this could be what makes a manager out of Davey and I back his decision 100% as for those dickheads singing one brian howard, **** down to lane with him!

Leon is equally as good as howard if not better.

Well said mate.. I thought the three in midfieldcomplimented each other very well, a few more games together and they could be very good.</p>

Howards goals could keep us in this division..who the f'ck

looks like they can score on a regular basis like he can. So what if he goes for nowt in the summer, he didn't cost us owt. Terrible situation,

Howard would have buried the penalty. We had no natural attacking central midfielder today.

Priced out of the market by a £10m claim.

    See above.

This lads got a touch of Chris Shuker syndrome.

The chairman withdrew a contract offer when the manager wanted to sign him again?

The club is bigger than the manager

Leon is equally as good as howard if not better.

    Different strengths and weaknesses

    He's been stuck with Hassel...

or Leon at his side and with the full weight of expectation on his shoulders.

The club is drifting into oblivion

Brian Howard has been our best player since returning to this league

Without a doubt. Without him we'd have been relegated, twice. And what does he get for that? To be called a "spoilt little lovely person". Unbelievable. We don't deserve players of Brian Howard's ability.
