    I'm afraid the treatment I mentioned didn't work and the girl died on Saturday. I brought the situation to this forum, so I thought I better keep you informed. I couldn't say anything earlier as people much closer to her didn't know.

    A big thank you to those who kept her in your thoughts.

    I'm not sure what I said on Friday was appropriate for a football forum, it probably wasn't, so I apologise for that.

    I'm not sure there's anything else any of us can say.

    Poor, poor thing. I really feel for her parents - I can't imagine what they are going through.

    And there is absolutely nothing to apologise for - there are much more frivolous things posted in here from time to time. Just a massive shame that the prayers / positive vibes didn't work.

    RIP little girl.

    How sad. One of my friends has started chemo today in the knowledge that, if successful, it can only marginally increase the time he has left. Puts football in perspective.

    A real good friend of my niece was given 3-6 months to live by Barnsley hospital, he is 23 years old has Leukemia, He told them he will fight on
    His family started a foundation to raise money to send him to USA .In the meantime he went to a hospital down south who agreed to do a 2nd bone marrow transplant.
    He had this on Thursday and is now in isolation for the next 5-8 weeks.

    GET WELL SOON DAN WERE ALL SUPPORTING YOU.

    I never saw the original post but reading those posts on this thread what a little kid and her parents went through is terrible.

    I knew something was not right yesterday . I have never felt as sad as I did yeterday, I didnt know why, but I do now.

    So sorry nothing could be done .
