I don't like this idea of lobbing a spare ball back into play ASAP. I can see a scenario where a keeper rushes out of his box to hoof into touch, ball boy gives spare to opposition player, quick throw to colleage, whack it into empty net. More unnecessary hold-up and debate and arguing etc, etc ..... Watch it happen to Paul Robinson tonight !
