Each month in FourFourTwo we run a feature called ‘And another thing’, which involves four fans of different clubs meeting to discuss an issue put forward by the magazine. For the next issue, we want to discuss what it’s like to be a fan supporting a club who is favourite for relegation with the bookies. At this moment in time, William Hill make Barnsley favourite in the Championship for the drop and, as such, we want one of your fans to represent you in our discussion. We are hoping to meet in a pub in London at some point over the next two weeks. If you are interested, can you please e-mail hitesh.ratna@haymarket.com over the next day or so. cheers, FourFourTwo magazine. ps: mods, this is not spam - we just thought it would be easier to contact people via a messageboard than by telephone.
Hope Harrow represents us well, whenever they interview or when WSC had one in they always spout the most ***** i've ever heard Do us proud
Surely we should not be favourites for relegation? What about Blackpool? Objectively they should be before us. Personally I think Colchester and Hull should be before us. The bookies should take note of Shep splashing the cash on our foreign legion!! We are top the league too!
RE: Surely we should not be favourites for relegation? Ladbrokes rate us at 100/1 to win the league, while Blackpool are 66/1 - do they know something we don't?
The Bookies dont base their odds on how likely something is but on how many people are betting on an event. so if 20000 scunny fans go and put 10 grand each on them winning the league they will finish up favourites with the bookies to win the league even though the chances of it happening are still the same Looks like us Barnsley fans havent been sticking our hands in our pockets
were stuffed then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i watch him pout and pose for an interview at the wireless festival on Sunday.not a pretty site
Which is exactly why I feel like telling FourFourTwo to stick their article up their arses. I don't see the merit in participating in such a discussion - it's tantamount to tacit acceptance of the suggestion that we're the most likely team to face the plunge next year, when others will certainly have poorer squads on the opening day. We will be stronger next year with the signings we are making, and I for one don't want to participate in an exercise that serves only to broadcast the idea that we're certain casualties, to the rest of the division.
RE: Which is exactly why I feel like telling FourFourTwo to stick their article up their arses. I couldn't agree more.
They did one last December featuring the Clubs of South Yorkshire. It's the one with Real Madrid on the front cover.
They had United, Wednesday, Rotherham and fecking Donny.
Page 86 if anyone should have the slightest interest.
(wicked)

How much are they paying? Do they expect us to do this for nothing, whilst they are raking the cash in?
Fancy going to an unofficial website People 'outside the game' aren't allowed to comment on football matters.
