If that was a reduced police presence at Leicester yesterday cos of them only allowing us 1000 tickets, there must be a bloody lot there normally. Didn't think Leicester were known as a particularly troublesome bunch but the local constabulary seemed quite eager on removing the odd few.
Quite a bad reputation My mate's dad was a copper in Barnsley and to retire on grounds of bas health after a run in with their fans at the 'Well
I remember them getting on our buses... in the mid 90s and waiting for the Barnsley fans to get on.
Then they all put balaclavas on and all hell broke lose.
Barnsley have had plenty of run ins with Leicester in the past.

Leicester......... At the FA Cup game at Oakwell I can remember them coming onto the North Terrace during half-time about 40 handed. There was a tense atmosphere and then they were attacked, thus causing them to spill over onto the corner of the pitch. All their lot sat behind in the seats began throwing pies, coins etc. It was certainly very lively. First time i went to Filbert Street in 1981 was quite eventful too.
RE: Leicester......... 8th September 1981 at filbert st. I got throw out of that game by an over zealous copper. Mind you I had been drinking most of the day celebrating the birth of my first born who had arrived in the early hours of that morning at Leicester Royal Infirmary. So I more than likely deserved to get chucked out!!!!!!!!
