    .... Luke Steele is deluding himself if he thinks he is England class. He's not. He is a decent keeper, a very good shot-stopper and he has made some fab saves at crucial times (liverpool match is the best example that springs to mind). However, to be international class all aspects of your game need to be sound and Steele is not 'sound' in one or two areas.....

    I'll expand on this later when people who think he's brilliant have slagged me off....

    Couldn't agree more. But I hope he stays, and improves now there's some more credible competition.

    Then - and only then - maybe he'll have a point. But to be fair is he realistically any worse than rob green? He's certainly more proven than jack butland. We're hardly swimming in a sea of goalkeeping excellence in this country.

    I believe in fairies, the Easter bunny, and Keith Hill.

    There's a difference between international class and England class. I agree with what you say about international class, but we no longer have the great goalies like we used to have, so he does have a chance of being among the top 3 English keepers.
