    Nigel Adkins - It wasn't a dive. There probably wasn't any contact. In fact, there wasn't any contact, but if the defender had left his leg there, there would have been contact.

    Its now such a regular occurance and has become the norm that the blame in their eyes is of the defender for trying to tackle rather than the cheating tw@t who throws himself to the ground.

    It was a dive and a very good one - so good you have to wonder if he has been practicing.

    Not blaming the ref a player deliberately tried to cheat and who did it very well - but there ought to be a possibility to bring a retrospective brining the game into disrepute charge for clear dives such as this

    thats what you get with FIFA and the FA still living in the middle ages technology could have sorted that out in seconds and the ref sending him off. Bookings for simulations should be changed to straight red only way to stop it , Rugby, cricket and even tennis have moved into the 21st century time that old German git did
