At 9pm police issued their first section 27 notice of the night - on Peel Square. That means the drunk and disorderly person will be banned from town for 12-48 hours!
One thing puzzles me about these notices.If the person receiving the notice is drunk,how can he understand what is happening? Why isn't he being locked up?
Cos there's nowhere to put them all, they'll be issuing hundreds most probably. I've watched that police programme from Wakey city centre.
