    Huddersfield Town called press conference for 0930 this morning to announce Phil Parkinson as the new manager. Anyway he didn't turn up, just called and said that he had decided to stay at Charlton because they had offered him a very large contract!</p>

    According to reports it was a close call between Parkinson and Ritchie

    they went for Parkinson, so I guess Ritchie is next choice, like you say, unless he doesn't want to be regarded as second best.
