    First win of many.

Very good day all round for confidence/morale.

First off, it's three points. That does wonders. It's an away win. Brilliant. We came from behind (shut it). Leroy's already off the mark. The captain got the winner. All very very good for confidence/morale.
Great for us, great for Danny and the staff, great for the players.

I can't speak about the performance as I wasn't in attendance. Shame that there's no reports from those who were, they're really appreciated by myself at least. Only so much you can gain from the odd tweet or media reports. But no doubt those travelling down are enjoying a drink or ten so perhaps they'll report back to us tomorrow?

However, I must make a point of congratulating Martin Cranie on the goal. He had a perfectly good one chalked off last season at Donny, so I'm glad this one counted and having seen his celebration (via SkySports) he looked chuffed to bits. Which is how I feel tonight. We've got a few monkeys off our backs today, I hope this gives the team more room to express themselves in the coming games, starting against Coventry in, erm, Northampton on Tuesday.

    You Reds.

Lost, again. Three on the bounce. Dawson and TK started. Going to be very interesting seeing how Keith 'handles' regular defeats and the negativity that brings. He's only experienced that with us, and we all know how that went. Interesting too for the Dale fans, seeing a Keith side regularly defeated for the first time.

I agree with all of the above. I've been a critic of Cranie's but it sounds like he has had an outstanding game today - so fair play to him. Maybe we'll begin to look a bit more solid now. It certainly sounds like we showed some major cojones today. And top marks for DW. He shows great equanimity - win or lose, and he has to be the man for us for the long term, come what may. In his previous stint Danny was good at getting the team to close out a victory and it sounds like that's what happened today. Danny Wilson's middleweight army! COYR !!!

A point on Tuesday, a victory next week, and all looks well in Danny's garden of Eaden.

Keith will walk mate, seen on your twitter feed that as soon as he senses negativity, he'll be gone.

As I say, it's going to be interesting. In the other two defeats they were (by all accounts) like us in that they could have got something but couldn't find the net. But again, by all accounts, they were horrendous today and against a side that came up with them who a second string Huddersfield smashed for five in the week.

Successful people deal well in times of struggle and it's important to see how they deal in adversity. Keith failed on that score with us, even I didn't defend him on that. But has he learned? We'll see. But unless they get someone up top in to replace Hogan they're in for a struggle. The signings of Dawson and TK (and then starting them straight away) would worry me as a Dale supporter.

    Early days though.

Some folk just need to be patient. It's unlikely you recruit so many new players, with some bought just before the start of the season, and have them blend together straight away. We've a good mix and it will take a while for the coaching staff to work out who plays best with whom, and in what position.

Glad we got a win, and that it was earned from being 1-0 down. Should set them in good stead for future games as they know it can be done.

Long way to go. Plenty of ups and downs I'm sure.

Keef has already set expectations - relegation wont mean failure. I just hope they can hang on until the last game of the season.

Sounds so uncomfortably similar to the last 3 years it's unbearable!

I'm in two minds about Rochdale:
    1. They are abject all season (or until the Berk walks).
    2. They survive until May and we relegate them.

I think most satisfaction would be gained from option two.

I've nothing against Rochdale or their fans but while ever the Berk is manager I will want them to bomb.
