Leicester's home league attendances so far this season: Peterborough United 23,863 Blackpool 18,655 Burnley 18,480 Hull City 20,815 Bristol City 22,529 Brighton & Hove Albion 25,726 Crystal Palace 23,646 Nottingham Forest 24,793 Ipswich Town 20,779 Derby County 20,680 Barnsley 23,579 Cardiff City 25,055 Huddersfield Town 25,913 Middlesbrough 8,585
A weather warning was put out for Nottingham for really bad icy conditions and to only travel unless absolutely necessary. It was the severest warning given so conditions must have been bad.
my mate lives just north of leicester and their lass was stuck for four hours in the snow on friday,so I reckon thats the main reason for the attendence, other than that I wish our figures were as 'bad' as those...13,000 for the cup against burton, where we got 5000 against burnley.
I apologise. I saw their attendance and it surprised me. But having now taken everything else into consideration it does appear I jumped in with both feet. Silly me.
There are stories that players had to walk last 20 mins to get to the ground because of the weather - highly unlikely the game would have taken place had it not been on TV.
It said on sky that players had to jog to ground and they put game back by 15 mins so fans could get there or those that went.
