    ......Relax.

Congrats for the result on the weekend. Think I was more confident in you than a lot of posters on here. Suppose it's different when you can look at it independantly.

Anyway, those coming down on the weekend can now enjoy themselves to the full and not watch the game with a radio stuck to their ear and chewed fingernails!

    But...

....if they went down, you wouldn't get to beat them next year.

I'd personally like Southampton to drop - and think they will

    Ah, I get it

You were all supremely confident, just didn't want to show it.

Wouldn't want to play poker with you lot then, certainly had me going :D

    All Barnsley fans sing

"Always look on the black side of life"
If we ever win promotion back to the Premier League, there'll still be individuals who'd find something to complain about!
I think our game next Sunday is one of the few that doesn't have anything riding on it.

    Same thing here

    Never happy unless they're moaning.

Can't be doing with the "glass half empty" brigade myself. We've established ourselves in the Championship - the highest division most of our fans will have seen us play in (I've been going since 1968 and it's the highest I've seen) and in the FA Cup Final.

And still they call for Dave Jones head, their car-parking space has gone, McPhail can't tackle, the pies too hot, beers like p!ss...

My Final tickets bounced onto my doormat on Saturday and I haven't stopped smiling. Bit of a worry when the dogs nearly had them though :D

Why do dogs never rip up bills??

That sounds uncannily familiar with regards to the manager & McPhail.

I've just got my credit card bill from what I spend down at the Semi's. :'(

At least I don't have to fork out another £450+ for the final.

See 'Every Cloud' and all that :D

    Small beer that

...it's not the cost of the final I'm worried about - it's the European trips :D

But still, I'd rather be thinking of that than how Thommo can't score, Capaldi's crap, Ledley & Ramsey are gone...

By the way - your captain what a plonker

What was he on making that challenge against Cole in a match that didnt matter.

Good luck with the appeal against the sending off - I think you will need it I will be amazed if that is sucessfull

Red may have been a bit harsh but definite yellow and some other refs would have given red as well

RE: By the way - your captain what a plonker

Agree entirely. Don't think for one moment he tried to "do" him but a foolish challenge at that stage of the game and given the circumstances.

The only chance he's got of getting off is because we've put in an appeal. If the FAW look at it with their usual haste, they'll convene a meeting 1st week in June. Think theres a Respite Center trip before that and he can't be banned before the hearing.

No chance whatsoever of succeeding in the appeal. We've only ever had one rescinded - the FAW actively work against us (and Sw*nsea & Wrexham btw), their President even said this week (when asked about our FA Cup Final appearance) that we do nothing for Welsh football.

I suppose the likes of Rhyl & Abertysswg Girls & Boys Club do though, so who am I to question them?

Purse wouldn't have played in the Final anyway. Loovens & Johnson have nailed those spots.

    I know

... and I still don't rate him that much tbh. Too hit or miss.

He has improved recently though in all fairness. Must have a contract due for renewal or something...

Some Barnsley fans thought he was great

I thought he turned it on every tenth game or so. Rest of the time he was a passenger. I was happy we got shut.
