Yorkshire post Anderson Da Silva sidelined for another month BARNSLEY midfielder Anderson De Silva's return from a knee operation has been put back until next month. http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/sectionhome.aspx?sectionID=4877 Davey on website "Anderson de Silva is back in full training and has really been flying into tackles for the last couple of weeks. Tuesday's reserve team game was a little too soon but we are looking at arranging something for next week to give him a match. Fitness-wise Anderson is flying. His rehab has gone smoothly and if I had an epidemic before the weekend I could probably throw him in at Blackpool with no problems. http://www.barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/SimonDavey/0,,10309~1389604,00.html Just wondered ???
Unless something has happened after Tuesday night he is fine and should / hopefully to be back in 2 weeks time playing first team football.(Y)

old info I think-he's played a game already
BARNSLEY midfielder Anderson De Silva's return from a knee operation has been put back until next month.

The Brazilian has not played first-team football for seven months and his absence has been a major blow for the Tykes. Anderson is scheduled to play his first reserve team game against Bradford City on September 30.

Maybe in before the Donny game but then he'll need a few games to get his match fitness so he should be at his best end of October beginning of November.
YP is what was originally said by Ryan Kidd (i think it was) last week. Since then SD has said that they are looking to organise something for next week to give him a game. Reading between the lines I would say that they have seen enough progress in his training to want to get him a lowkey game. If he comes through that with no problem and trains well I reckon he will be back for the Norwich game.
