RE: If he comes in and gets us playing.. He's going to need a fair few games before he's anywhere near to being match sharp. He'll be dismissed as crap by saturday night!
and what if he comes in and aggravates the old injury again I think Simon is clutching at straws here
RE: If he comes in and gets us playing.. seems to be a player that sits and controls a game i'm not saying he's going to be 100% but he will make a difference to the midfield cant be any worse than we've been watching.

RE: and what if he comes in and aggravates the old injury again what if he dosen't i don't give a **** about Davey one way or the other but saturday we need 3 points end of.
I think its SD panicking - should be playing 2-3 reserve games and a few from the subs bench before he comes back in IMO into the first team. So what its going to be Colace out for De Silva then?
He must be ok or he wouldn't be in the squad. The Club Physios and Doctors will have been monitoring this injury from Day one and SD wouldn't risk Da Silva's career and the Clubs future to bring him back early.
He's on the bench........................................................... Jesus, I thought from reading this thread that SD had said he was playing.
He played 90 minutes in a game. So where the big gamble?

RE: He's on the bench........................................................... A game after 6 months out.
if he was any decent i wouldnt need to critisise mate, but thats what i Feel mate and not gonna change my ways to satisfy you, anderson will prob get 20mins at the most on Sat, with Mossto gettin 4mins
So in your opinion he is wrong to bring the best mid field player we have, who has been passed fit by the medics and physios back into his squad?
he needs a reserve game, thats how I would make my desicion but I am not at the helm of barnsley FC am I
Why don't you just trust the judgement of the manager and the Clubs medical staff?
He is a naturally fit player and he will have spent many hours in the Gym strengthening the muscles around the joint.
He has been training with the squad and will have been doing a lot of running and some high intensity work, playing in small sided games and 8v8s.
