I like many others on this board have given him some right stick a lately; now i may eat my slice of humble pie because tonight, especially in the first half he was outstanding to be honest. His ball distribution, the fact he can pick a pass others wouldn't be able to see, his flicks and taking players on were all second to none. Also got stuck in at times when needed. Him, Colace, Foster, Moore and Hassell were all outstanding tonight. YOUUUU REDSSSSS.

Gave the ball away needlessly a few times

    a few passes went astray.

But on the whole his ball control and vision cut through the piggies like a well honed knife at the carvery :D

Was a bit quiet 45-65 mins as piggies pressed and our confidence wained., though the bulk of that may have been down to Teymourian's (who was superb first half) injury/fitness

I thought Teymourian was pretty impressive in the first half too but was obviously fooked. He ran to side a couple of times to get what looked like a sachet of something. Energy stuff? Anderson was almost back to his best, dawdled a couple of times but that is just his laid back style I suppose, he does ooze class at times though. With Colace and those 2 in we look solid enough to allow JCR a free role.

was the one player able to ease the pressure in the 2nd half by bringing the ball out of defence. A couple of times he was poor with his final ball, but for the most part of the game he was immense - particularly impressed when he tracked their winger back 50 yards and tackled him in the 2nd half.

Muller, Hassell, Moore, Foster, Colace, Anderson, Andranik, JCR. All excellent. If you have that many players who are outstanding, and the rest do okay/well, then you'll win most games.
