Andranik happy with Barnsley loan deal Iran's Andranik Teymourian, who signed a loan transfer deal with Championship side Barnsley, says he is delighted to play for the Reds. “I am very happy to be here. This club has a good manager and is a very, very good football team. There are some excellent players and I am delighted to be at Barnsley. Hopefully I can help us get the right results in the next few games,” Ando told Barnsley's official website. The Iranian star joined Barnsley on loan until the end of the season from Fulham after injuries rendered him unable to actively play for Roy Hodgson's squad. "I was unfortunate to get an injury that kept me out of the Fulham side when a first team place was on the cards,” he said. “Although I am now match fit, with Fulham going well in the Premier League, it is difficult to break back into the first team. I need games at this stage of the season and I had no hesitation in coming to Barnsley where I know I can do the midfield job that the club needs." Ando will wear the number 12 shirt for Barnsley which currently stands in the 20th place in the Championship table

Hammill gets ready for his Reds challenge
LIVERPOOL young gun Adam Hammill has high hopes for his season-long loan with Barnsley. And with Champion ship experience already under his belt, the gifted winger is looking to continue building on his blossoming career. "I'm really excited about joining Barnsley, I want to show the manager and the fans what I can do," revealed Hammill. "It's another learning curve for me. Coming here is another stint in my career, hopefully I can make an impact. "This is the third loan deal I've had in the Championship. I'm getting to know the league and I feel as though my football is improving. "I'm looking forward to doing well. Hopefully Liverpool watch me and then we'll see what happens next season. I might break into the team, if not then I might have to move elsewhere. "But whatever happens I'm looking forward to the challenges. As long as I'm playing I'm happy." Hammill has had loan spells with Southampton and Blackpool, and also Dunfermline for whom he played for in the 2007 Scottish Cup final.
