straight red. don't think violent conduct aspect matters. Foster's booking was one of 23 stupid fouls the ref gave.
just seen 'highlights' on virgin - Andranik just pushed Chopra in the back. Having seen it how can we not consider appealing? What's worse that can happen, extra game ban? I'd try it
Violent conduct aspect does matter Because a straight red for a professional foul, handling on the line etc is only a one game ban. Something deemed as violent conduct whether a slap or a dangerous tackle is 3 games.
He went nowhere near his face, was a shove in the back. On the night I thought it was for backchat which too is harsh, when you consider Mr Rooney's mouth every week
Just seen the goals & red card, and oh my god if that's a red card 3 game ban then this world has gone mad!!
Fraser its OK saying that but the players know you cant and should not do it. Can you remember last year when 6/7 or more players used to go around the ref at every chance. On spn it showed you Chelsea and other teams doing it in the prem but barnsley where as bad or worse them all them teams.
Moore shares the same views! The Star (local!) article title 'Moore points the finger on red card ref' Some strong viewpoints. I just can't understand why Davey isn't appealing...
There is no point appealing All that will happen is it will be deemed a frivelous appeal and the ban increased Didnt that happen to a Middlesborough player earlier this season in another ridiculous sending off
RE: There is no point appealing Aliadiere against Liverpool. I think he was the first person to have a ban extended because of a "frivolous appeal". IIRC he had been sent off for a simila type of offence. I am sure it was raising his hands.
