Is it just me or does anyone else think he played - relative to most of the team - ok yesterday? Yes, he lost the ball a few times but he was always looking to get involved, not scared to have a crack at goal or run at the Charlton defence.

    I agree with you

thought he picked up a lot of the loose balls. His biggest problem is that he's far too similar to Colace which doesn't give us many options when it comes to passing the ball through the middle.

Discotyke andranik was trying to get up and down the pitch on the left side and he was doing OK. Him and van homoet where trying to attack the left where the space was on the sides of the pitch and this was made more tougher as only one side was been properly played. Hes not fully fit as you can see and at Wednesday just pulled up when running for the ball, so until fit its going to be hard for him but the only option is to play him or there's no point having him at the club. He at least tries to get up and down and No's that colace will be there to cover as he is for any defender. But some fools will boo one game which i hate to ear

    not shocking but.....

JCR came close to us a few times in the first half and just looked totally frustrated, in the first half he was trying too hard, second half he totally disapeared, I'd have replaced him with Disco.

Anderson looks to have been off his game since he came back, he doesn't cover half the ground he covered last season and seems to be (being kind here) far too casual on the ball. I'm not sure what has changed with him, perhaps its a confidence thing I sincerely hope its not a brian howard big head thing

for a wind up, he doesn't half go on

why say one word when you keep mispelling/mistyping it over and over and over again.

I think he has looked a decent player in both games. Did get caught on ball a couple of times but he will sharpen up. Not sure about playing him, Colace and Anderson. It only leaves JCR out of the midfield who can create anything. On current form I would drop Anderson and go with:

    JCR Andranik Colace Hammill

Agreed, although some of morons that called radio sheff

didn't think so, they actually had cheek to single him out!!!!!!!! FFS

He got ball forward everytime he had it, surged forward, covered lots of ground.

Sure he's not match fit but had a hell of a better game than lads that have been playing week in week out

Fair enough, I just thought he was ****.

Whether that's because he wasn't fit or all the other players round him were **** as well that's for debate.

I still think that in a game like that Anderson should've been left on. Probably the only player who can pick a pass which was needed against them.

Thought he looked well off the pace and got caught too many times in possession. Perhaps in the premiership you have more time on the ball ? Just hope he gets better.

Looked ok, but perhaps a little short on comfidence....... harshly criticised by some fans I thought

There were very few player who could hold their heads high after saturdays game....... Bobby Hassell was outstanding for me, Muller made some good saves but thats about your lot.

I'm no football manager, but its pretty obvious to me that you cannot play a counter attacking formation (as we did) against a team who come to defend. The same tactic worked against the Owls (as they were at home an set out to attack), thus we were able to catch them on the break. So big praise to SD for out smarting BL on last Tuesday night, but big big grumble for trying to play same way at home against team who came to defend!

The caller on praise or grumble on saturday got it spot on when he said "football is a pretty simple game, why are we trying to complicate it"

Got to agree keep it simple simon!!

    Team for Sat:

    Muller

    Hassell, Souza, Foster, Kozzy

    Devaney, Andranik, Colace, Hammill

    Boggy, Miffy

Two energetic wingers who love to attack, now thats what I like to see.
