Seeing as we had Kevin Friend today after a poor performance in the Premiership last week, I suspect Marriner will be "punished" with a Championship game in 2 weeks' time. Apalling decision to award Chelsea a penalty in the 97th minute today - not quite Gunnar Halle-esque, but Ramires fell into the West Brom player in the penalty area, and succeeded in conning Marriner. So, it doesn't just happen against us.
