    Anybody recommend any decent ones around £100. Daughters wanting a kindle but thought a tablet would be better

    in the next week google nexus 7 comes out looks a cracker 7 inch screen thinkin about one myself

    saw the nexus 7 on the "Clic" show

    certainly does look an impressive piece of kit. Gonna be around the £200 mark I believe for the 16g and £159 for the 8g

    Remember though

    that the Kindle uses e-ink so is easier on the eyes, better for reading in sunlight and allows for long battery life. Tablets are great for some things (probably, I can't see the point of them misen) but for reading books, they're not the right tool for the job.

    I'll second that, I've got kindle and iPad and each has their place. Kindle much better for reading.
