His retirement takes me back. When I was just starting to get into being a big-time barnsley fan he was becoming massively popular at huddersfield. And being a Barnsley fan growing up in huddersfield i was in for a fair bit of stick! Looking back I think I was very lucky to grow up a barnsley fan when comparing our achievements to a similiar sized club such as huddersfield. We've seen a season in the premiership, a play-off final at wembley, a play-off final at cardiff, an FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley and generally been a better team than them. All the while Huddesfield with their nice new stadium have done naff all. I'd love to see us higher in the championship, but lets appreciate the things we've seen over the years!!!
Andy Booth Is A Proper Pro Had a decent career and without any controversy. One of the most loyal guys in the game. It was good to see him score his 150th Town goal in his last match.
