If i were him, multi millionnaire footballer at 21 , i too would be out on the booze pulling all the hot totty.... if you cannot do it at 21...when can yer!!!!?
I disagree, if you're a professional footballer you need to put all that back to when you're 35 or you're not going to make it.
oh yeah and all 21 year olds are gunna turn down loads a booze and birds.....................errrr not!!!
But he's not a normal 21 year old is he. The fame and fortune comes at a price, a relatively tiny one but a price all the same and that price is restraint from the lifestyle of a normal 21 year old.
He's supposed to be a professional sportsman. Perhaps a week's fine for everytime he's ****ed might do the trick.
I agree with you entirely on this one Mario. Take Beckham and Ronaldo as examples. Much better looking guys, with much more natural talent than Carroll (IMO obviously) but both managed to act totally professionally off the pitch in their teens, early twenties (and later for Beckham) - I'm sure they could have lapped it up in night clubs with the girls, out drinking late, gambling etc. This at a time when fame and fortune were beckoning for them, but unlike Carrol, they built on their early promise, did all the extra training that the likes of Carroll don't, and just see how they have fared, well into their careers. As you say Mario, if the price to pay for shed loads of cash over a great football career is to not behave like many a typical boozed up 21-year old male, then so be it. You can't have it both ways. Some may have tried, take Gazza and Best as examples, but just look what happened to them. Carroll needs to sort himself out or it will be a tremendous waste of his potential.
