Andy Gray. Scapegoat for when the midfield doesn't turn up.

    Bad miss, though.

Hopefully Davies will fill the role of Andy Gray.........but thats not the point

...........we have had our two strikers (Davies + Haynes) injured over this last few weeks.......and we have had no one to replace them.
Gray isn't up to Championship standard........although you can't fault him on effort
And the jury is still out regarding Vaz Te

As many as that? People are raving about Robin Van Persie?? Have they not seen leaden carthorse Andy Gray in "action"? Might get to 20 goals by the end of the season though so not all bad.

In his defence, the miss on Saturday looks worse on telly than it was. It came at such pace that all he could really do is put his body in the way and hope it went in. Sadly, it didn't. Nowhere near the same league as that infamous Odejayi miss.

You didn't compare him to Robin Van Persie

    You compared him to Odejayi.

Is he as good as Robin Van Persie? No.

Is he better than Odejayi? Yes.

Re: You didn't compare him to Robin Van Persie

I know but now I've seen how good his strike rate is I wish I had.

Probably the highest paid player at the club yet we have to tolerate his sub par performances week in week out.
