I don't like to single people out (yet yes, here I am doing so!) but he really is dire these days.

He's never been a world beater but he's been a good pro.

However, he has no pace, no strength, and when someone of his height is beaten in the air by Barry Ferguson it really does top it off.

Not a bad finisher in the box (though also not that great) - other than, a total waste of time now.

How he got on up front before Haynes is a mystery.

What did you want him to do like?

    Who?

Gray? Win the ball in the air against a 5 foot 6 midfielder for a start.

Winning a ball occasionally would be nice

He`ll be gone at the end of the season James be patient or just fill yer boots for the next six months, although you tended to be a little quiet about him earlier in the season.

Agree. Not sure I've ever seen him play before, but didn't see him do anything constructive today. Every 50-50 went to the opposition, held the ball up occasionally, but then hislay-offs were hit and miss, Not impressed with him at all. For someone presumably playing for a new contract, he did absolutely nothing. Having said that, I was expecting more of Haynes when he came on too (he did, didn't he?!). Come to think of it, all the forwards were useless today. I did see signs for optimism though - in the first half, obviously. Neat passing, some good runs and good passes recognising those good runs, awareness from midfield to forwards. Let's move on. COYR against Leeds!
