I don't like to single people out (yet yes, here I am doing so!) but he really is dire these days. He's never been a world beater but he's been a good pro. However, he has no pace, no strength, and when someone of his height is beaten in the air by Barry Ferguson it really does top it off. Not a bad finisher in the box (though also not that great) - other than, a total waste of time now. How he got on up front before Haynes is a mystery.
He`ll be gone at the end of the season James be patient or just fill yer boots for the next six months, although you tended to be a little quiet about him earlier in the season.
Agree. Not sure I've ever seen him play before, but didn't see him do anything constructive today. Every 50-50 went to the opposition, held the ball up occasionally, but then hislay-offs were hit and miss, Not impressed with him at all. For someone presumably playing for a new contract, he did absolutely nothing. Having said that, I was expecting more of Haynes when he came on too (he did, didn't he?!). Come to think of it, all the forwards were useless today. I did see signs for optimism though - in the first half, obviously. Neat passing, some good runs and good passes recognising those good runs, awareness from midfield to forwards. Let's move on. COYR against Leeds!
his wife his stunning so i'll let him off, as long as he keeps bringing her to the games. for me to look at instead of him
