Ex Huddersfield, 31 years old, led Guiseley to promotion to the Conference in May, then retired to take up a coaching role in our academy. Not exciting news or owt, but because I'm going to watch Jacob against Guiseley on Saturday I looked them up. We're laiking em on Tuesday too. They have Liam Dickinson up front.

I've never been before. Can't go on Tuesday as I'm doing a 12 hour shift that day and Wednesday, but am off work this weekend so with it being local and only a tenner I thought I'd go with the missus to see Jacob. Missed football me. Glad it's back, even if they are friendlies.

Andy is heading up the foundation stage so U9 to U11's

Big shoes to fill from Scott Rogan who left towards the end of last season and left football coaching altogether I believe which is a crying shame as he was the main reason my lad chose Barnsley over a few local academy's.

Hoping new season and Andy bring back the good times to the Academy as last season was a slog and I for one was glad the season ended, my lad however still loves going which is main thing!
