Has the question ever been asked TO Simon Davey of what his problem is with Andy Johnson as its obvious without Da Silva he is the best option in the centre of midfield.
on what evidence is he the best option? Just out of curiosity. Because when he left Leicester he was criticised to high heaven. A question for SD might be why the **** did you sign him?
RE: on what evidence is he the best option? I assume Davey signed him because he is the 'complete midfielder' - Davey's words, not mine.
as he? i been told he has to stay away from the club, however as you can see its Davey as the problem with him, when Ryan Kidd was in charge he was involved when davey was in hosp, as soon as Davey returned he disapearred
RE: Could find out the exact date ........ Yes it was all over the official website etc.
errr.....

Dont follow the reasoning behind that comment Dirk. try using 2 ears and 1 mouth in that ratio and its amazing what you can find out if you're in the right place at the right time.
I was being obtuse mate ie as far as I can tell there's been nowt officially announced about Johnson getting paid off. Raging success that signing was.
Was it in Barnsley Football weekly ?

from Official site BARNSLEY completed the signing of experienced midfielder Andy Johnson in the summer of 2007
Andy had spent the previous season at Leicester City but jumped at the chance to join Simon Davey's Oakwell revolution.
The former Welsh international has enjoyed spells with West Brom, Nottingham Forest and Norwich City during a career which has taken in almost 100 top flight games.
Andy was a regular for the Reds at the start of the 2007/2008 campaign but lost his place in mid-September and struggled to win it back. He clocked up just five games for the Club although his experience around Oakwell was invaluable as the Reds challenged on two fronts throughout the season.
