I'm no Davey basher ... but to sign this player, fall out with him within a couple of months, and keep him under contract, doing absolutely nothing to benefit BFC (even when we have a major crisis in midfield) is nothing short of scandalous. What an utter waste of money. Either he resolves his issues with Johnson, or makes more of an effort to move him on. The lack of explanation to fans about this is also wrong. (I'm not suggesting that Andy Johnson isn't in the wrong - he may well be - BFC jut can't afford to be bleeding money on a player who will never be part of the manager's plans).
no he is still at the club his form from last season Season 2008 - 09 League 4 (0) 0 0 0 League Cup 1 (0) 0 0 0
when i have been to see them train hes never been there and i was told him and davey have fell out and hes been told not to come back to the club again. I was told that he had a drink problem and was in the pub more than training. And as bfcbub said he was been payed off.
RE: I'm no Davey basher Played 2 pre season games when Ryan Kidd was in charge then when Davey came back out of Hospital he was banished to Sheffield FC with the youngsters. **** man management from Davey and a complete waste of wages. Davey needs to get of his arse more and see more games and find out behind the scenes what temperment the players he likes have. Put down the remote control Simon. Do some old fashioned scouting.
He's gone........... a long time since. Lenzo is absolutely correct, he was told he was surplus to requirements before the summer and was paid up and gone.
andy johnson got replaced by a better player. anderson de silva FACT. I would sooner have a manager who has balls to drop players who aint good enough
Played at Buxton pre season . Official site ,search Buxton, go to Silverlands full time read report. July is part of the summer months.
Bit disappointed he's gone myself......... He had a cracking little jack russell dog I wouldn't have minded a pup from.
