Wasn't he on the bench on Saturday?

If not. He was definitely warming up before the match.

I thought that's what you said, row behind me then, and I was all set to be asking 'are you fired?' but as I didn't see anyone strange (or should that be any strangers) in our neck of the woods didn't need to!

    to quote a phrase
"More boring than the first half"
The biscuit was a good start to the second half though!

I trust you won't be asking Laura to provide a supply of minatures to be distributed in the pub?
You've set the trend now. I'll let DB3K know

Can't see the point of miniature wine

Would rather have maxiature wine personally.

Anyway, brandy is a medicine to be taken to combat depression of a post-home-defeat nature.

Wine is for celebrating, and is also useful in the boot for ballast on long car journeys from Germany. Unfortunately this useful kind of ballast usually gets converted to a less useful kind which proves stubbornly difficult to get rid of.

    Right

See you on Saturday. I'll be the one with 18 litres of Burgundy Red in my inside pocket.

Hope at least 18 people turn up otherwise I'll have a problem getting in the ground.

People are not getting into the spirit of this wine/brandy thing are they?
