Does anyone know what has happened to Andy Johnson - he played the first few games, did alright, and then disappeared off the planet!
Simon Davey said he doesn't play in the reserves, as he knows what he brings to the team and his fitness level is still very good. Apparently it's all down to simple team selection. He will get another chance.
Why?? For me we need him in the team, at Leicester we had nobody breaking the play up and slowing it down when it needed slowing down. We seem to be lumping the ball forward and its not working, with Johnson in there he can pass the ball around and give the wingers more time to get forward. He gets too much bad press on here, we have needed a expierienced ball winning centre midfielder for a good couple of seasons, in my view we now have one and he should start.
I agree with that.. ... I thought he created a good balance for Howard to go forward. I would play him based on how he played against Plymouth.
Really? We have done better without him anywhere near the starting squad.
Still each to their own.

Putting two and two together and making 5.... He came with a reputation of getting up to stuff our manager had made it toppriorityto stamp out.
Then his disappears from the squadcompletely.

RE: Why?? I can't understand all the bad press that he gets. He has looked ok when he's played. I agree not sensational, but he has shown commitment and experience and has done a good job for us.
