From Official site REDS defender Paul Reid is in line to make his first appearance of the season at Colchester after training with the squad today. Manager Andy Ritchie said: "It looks as though Paul Reid will be fit. He has trained fully this morning because I need to know before we travel if there is going to be any reaction to his injury. If it goes to form then the reaction would have come towards the end of training but we are keeping our fingers crossed. "We will monitor Paul throughout the next few hours but if he has any soreness or tightness then we will leave him out. If he misses out then we may have to give him four full days rest just to make sure he is alright". AND REDS boss Andy Ritchie gave his thoughts ahead of Saturday's trip to Colchester United. He added: "Colchester will not be too different to Swindon or Scnuthorpe. There is not too much between a lot of the teams in this league and they will be workmanlike, quite big and will knock the ball into certain areas and try to get bits. "Colchester will try to play a bit more football than Scnuthopre - no disrespect to them because they have a gameplan and stick to it. Colchester will play more and that will suit us. "We know what to expect. We are not despondent because the lads are disappointed but we will not dwell on it. We have to really concentrate on what we did wrong at Scnuthorpe and against Swindon and make sure we put them right and eradicate them".
RE: Is he saying that we can only play against sides that pass? Hes saying our defence is crap and cant handle the long ball. Scnuthorpe - what a direct team.
RE: kay and vaughan WILL NOT WORK!!!! Reid n carbon far better oook! Cant we mix them up, or isnt that alloud?
