Good luck to him, the man's a rare manager like Gudjon who's able to do more with less.

 

The last 6 matches that Gudjon was in charge were the worst performances seen for 20 years.

Even though your facts are slightly wrong, I get your point. Thing is that by then G's days were numbered due to ridsdale. G wanted a piece of teh club, and whenthat wasn't going to happen, we were always going to part ways. The players knew he was going and lost respect for him.
