Nice guy, good builder of team spirit.

Maybe is 'one of the lads' a bit too much.

Tries to let his team play attractive football, bit of a bugger for the defence though !!!

We don't know the real reason why he left, a bit cloak and dagger.

If you gethim I hope he does well for you !!

would be a brilliant choice for you

fantastic motivator and will build a great team spirit as ali said

good in the transfer market also, although did sign a few crappy players

criticised for being too overly friendly with his players and being more of a mate than a manager. in a way though he was a victim of his own success at oakwell - we went up a year earlier than expected and are a touch out of our depth in this league.

eternally grateful to him for what he did at our club and a cracking bloke, in fact can not speak highly enough of the guy.

if you manage to get him then you are in luck - plays very exciting attacking football

Nobody will allow him to have their loan players

He won't sign centre halves until he's left your club and then decides you need 2.

    Nice chap though.

We must not let Wright go. So many balloon heads on here to prove wrong.

    Yes !!!!

err ahem (cough) He's a top class striker who is way above League one level, just the kind of player that a club like Northampton should be buying. £250K should do it !!! (cough !!)

Everything above is about right with the addition of a couple of warnings

    1) could be seen as too loyal to certain players

    2) Finds it very hard to change tacticts during a game

Nice guy. Not agreat tactician at all. Too "one of the lads" for my liking. Never changes the system or bunch of players.

Hey, he may try and take Marc Richards back to you! Although i'd like him to stay, we may have better options come January.

Apparently he turned Brentford down because of poor facilities.

    Great bloke

Big difference of opinion with chairman led to a parting of the ways . It certainly won't be dull at Sixfields were he and Rick Holden to be appointed .

Top guy! Made a big mistake getting us promoted against all odds and in spite of loads of experts on this site.
Without that would still be manager.Good luck to him and to you.

    Luckily got us promotion

and I thank him for that but alas then out of his depth.

    Poor tactician

signed some good, some bad, some indifferent.

Was about to saddle us with Cadamateri who's now at Grays. Make of that what you will.

Good guy though and I wish him well.

    RE: Luckily got us promotion

Cadermateri is on trial at Leicester City, only played at Grays to repay a debt to the chairman apparently
