My town, my community, my team...

Nothing more to be said except I'd rather be a TYKE than a selfish, middle-class lovely person who'd sell his own people down the river if the price was right.

You want to see teams win - Chelsea'll do a good job for you - you want to remain true to your roots - only one choice...

God's own town - you can't blame the rest of the world / country 'cos they were born in ignorance but everyone can help promote what is right - Barnsley...

I am f*ckin' pissed but my heritage is my privilege - and I'd rather be stood watching League 1 footie after watching the lads give 100% and losing and getting relegated than watching the 50%, at best, negative toss we had under Spackmam / Parkin / Thordason / Hart...

    You Reds...

But what is happening to our team is we are playing in a league where we all knew we would struggle and survival would be the key this season.

i know we will do it i have faith in the lads

    Their commitment is unquestionable

I am proud to see their commitment in every game, but they need help.
    That's my point.

We all agree with your sentiments Ketilbert there is only one team that 99.9% of posters on here would ever support winning or losing BUT that doesn't mean we have to accept a lack of ambition from the manager and/or Directors! Regardless of finances and ability or inability to make signings of any kind every club needs ambition to achieve more in a season than they did in the last and that has to be the aim for all the management team. Consolidation would have been this seasons aim and we all knew it would be difficult, if it was achieved then we could have expected more for next season BUT to say this week that we will never achieve promotion out of this league (however realistic that might be) is tantamount to treason!

    Did I post that?!?

Don't actually remember! You can tell I didn't get lucky in the town last night - come home, vent frustration on BBS!

    :pff

    Heartfelt, every word!!!

Granted, Ritchie's choice of words was unfortunate although I doubt he actually meant it - I think it was more about managing expectations. I honestly people are being a bit OTT about it - if we were pushing for a play-off spot everybody would've just written it off as mind-games. Unfortunate choice of words though - just to reiterate.

I was going to prattle on a bit more but I've a serious hangover so b*llocks to it!
