Andy Todd has signed a two-year deal with Derby County, skysports.com can confirm. The 32-year-old was eager to leave Blackburn Rovers and he has now sealed a move to Pride Park after the two clubs agreed terms. A number of clubs including Birmingham, West Brom and Sunderland had shown an interest - but Todd has opted for Derby, where his father Colin had a number of successful seasons as manager and player. Todd has signed a deal until 2009 and will hope to help Derby maintain their Premier League status. "Andy is delighted to have signed for Derby," his agent Peter Harrison confirmed. "Derby are a great club and Andy is looking forward to playing at Pride Park." Nayatanga must have taken the hint now!
