He'll definitely give us some 'moments' this season.

I think he could be the new M'voto.

Whether he's brilliant or awful he'll always have the potential to do something questionable, disastrous or occasionally brilliant.

Especially if he plays in defence.

That's my prediction going on my first impression anyway.

Enjoyed watching him today. Think his better position will be right back as he caused problems going forward but don't think he'll have the end product to be a right sided midfielder.

To be fair to the lad, he won't be playing the likes of Deulofeu, Barkley, Coleman and Miralles every game

    It's just my opinion.

I hope he's brilliant and makes the step up straight away.

He wasn't poor today by any stretch he was just a bit erratic and his positioning wasn't great.

He also had some really good moments.

There was no brilliance on display so forget that.

He may be a lively full back who is keen to get up the pitch. I hope he plays without taking risks at the back.

Can't see him as a winger.

Decent strike from outside the box and an acrobatic flicked clearance of the line.

I know what you mean though I couldn't help but miss Willo a bit as an out and out solid fullback.

I thought he looked absolutely quality.

Not exactly composed on the ball but a very capable player. Made some decent runs and put in some fantastic balls. Could have scored a couple too.

He was clearing the ball in the 6 yard box one minute and having a shot the next.

A bit harsh to compare him to big Jean who was a trier albeit a little out of his depth. I don't think Yiadom will be out of his depth.

From League 2 to facing Kevin Mirallas. Bit of context needed

Spot on, I thought he played well considering the opposition

They say a little knowledge is dangerous but some on here take that to a whole new level. Yiadom was brilliant today. He played without fear, made great runs, got on the end of at least 5 chances, linked up well, covered at the back....don't forget that he was playing against the likes of Northampton town last season and today was up against players who have just hopped off the plane from France. But never mind that, let's knock him anyway.

Some people need a serious reality check.

I thought he was one of the better players, along with Connor and Moncur in patches when we could get hold of the ball. They are a very good team but Aidy White was 3x worse than Yiadom today. They came down our left hand side about 5 times in the first 20 minutes with Deulofeu when he went missing. I miss George too, wish we had of just given him a chance to start the season as a starter, he was absolutely solid defensively.

    Is that aimed at me?

I've hardly criticised him have I.

All I've done is said what I saw today and made a prediction.

    I certainly don't need a reality check.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I just believe that yours is wrong. I'll certainly be having a punt on him as the first scorer fairly often, scored 7 goals last year from right-back, had about the same number of chances yesterday. Your prediction will be found to be wrong, nevertheless your entitled to it.

Well it didn't take Yids long.

Looked decent going forwards at times but then clumsily bowled over their man for the penalty.

Personally looked very harsh for the penalty from what I saw
