    so by their reckoning all livestock farmers are violent

    They based their argument on the character being a fisherman... thereby being violent towards fish. So by that reason farmers of livestock are no better. Surely these animal rights people would be better to channel their energy at the Whaling fleets, the Fox/stag hunts, the animal abuse of the Asians with the Dog farming... then we go onto the atrocities that Donkeys, bears, lab animals face...... and shall we go onto hunters like a certain dentist.... sorry but this lot are pathetic, an old British Icon from the old seaside "saucy postcard era".... I beggar belief at these people.... they need to get out more.
