Animated GIFs

    They wont work in IE but they do in Firefox, both browsers are fully up to date - any ideas anyone?

    Tools menu > Internet Options > Advanced.

    Go down to Multimedia, then check "Play animations in Web pages"
    Click OK and refresh the page.

    Cheers Revvie but it is already checked....to explain / confuse things further, I can see my current avatar moving, butnone of the smilies are animated.....

    The other day not even my avatar was animated - could it be caused by zone alarm or google toolbar?

    Dunno mate. You've lost me now.
    If some gifs work and others dont, and some work sometimes but not others, I think it's just broke.
    No idea how to fix that :S
