Interesting bit about parachute payments, wages, losses and debt in the football league from page 24 onwards. Highlights how tough it will be to compete.

On average, parachute payments make up over half of a clubs revenue and they're set to increase next season.

Wages higher than revenue for 9 clubs in the championship last season. Average wage bill of £23m. However, there's apparently a much lower correlation between wages and league position in the championship than in the premier league (0.24).

Bloody Wembley took its toll, so have narr got empty pockets especially after tearly bird ST. Need a new income stream sharpish before first balls kicked next season.
