Another available defender - Craig Cathcart

He looks as though he is available in the Blackpool shake-up. 6'2" central defender. I thought he looked pretty solid in tv sames I have seen. Definitely worth a look. Another one we could have had for free, who had made a splash in the lower leagues - a striker, so we don't need him, but - Lee Molyneux gone on a free from Accrington Stanley to Crewe. He certainly made an initial impact at Accrington and was predicted a great future, possibly at prem level. Seemed to get into some disciplinary trouble on the pitch, but we excel at getting those guys straightened out. It will be interesting to see how he gets on at Crewe under Steve Davies. If he keeps himself out of disciplinary trouble, he could be one of the catches of the close season.
