And yet Ganaye was pretty popular whilst he was here.

Textor is part owner of Palace and a close friend of Conway's. He got into football ownership on direct advice from Conway.

 

I don't think Conway/Lee/PMG has a financial stake in them. I'm sure that would be against some sort of European football law with them having a stake in another Belgian club.

As you say though, they did take Oulare off us for 2 years.

 

He was more effective in the PR / communication side of the role. He got particular plaudits for sending a private letter to a supporter regarding his mental health, which then got publicised.

I don't have any particular issues with his time as CEO here, but it seems like we were the exception to the general rule in terms of his later career. He pretty much went into hiding when joint CEO of Nancy and Oostende.

 

On topic of CEOs. Linton Brown now on board at Cheltenham

 

Pretty hard to attribute relegation to a CEO, especially in less than 12 months.
