Was thinking myself how much it was like last year, nothing between most of the clubs.

Donny seem to be heading downwards but as for the rest it's pretty open - Forest should have beaten us on saturday & have a squad capeable of turning themselves around.

At the other end Wolves, Birmingham & Reading seemed virtually invincible a few weeks ago but even that's changed.

We played Blackpool last night and whilst they didn't particularly threaten, they battled hard with 10 men behind the ball and were quick on the break. They won at Birmingham playing the same way and could have come away with a point last night but for two late goals.

Will be very tight all season by the looks of it & a little unbeaten run could go a long way.

    I agree

i dont usually look at the table but just trying to make the point that had we not picked up over the last ew game and got the ten points we would be looking a bit cut off.

I can't see the tightness of the league changing to be honest it is still a league where anyone can beat anyone

    Good God man

    ...nearly spilled my tea there!

I'm sat at a desk very similar to that - but the views are not quite the same :'(

Good win for you last night - can I swap derby game records with you?

First time in years we've done well in derbies

Here's hoping it continues on 8th November at home to Sheffield United.

MCcormack is doing well for you

Do he arrive in the summer or has he been there a while - knows where the net is!

    Sure is

He came to us from Motherwell on a "free" in the summer - although we had to pay them £120k compensation because he's under 24. What a bargain.

Birmingham had a £1.75m bid turned down last January but he wanted to stay at Motherwell because of Mark McGee. McGee left and then so did McCormack. Motherwell must be kicking themselves. Brum also came in for him in the summer but he chose us - thankfully.

Never thought I'd say it but Jay Bothroyd's playing very well also - despite not scoring that many. Looks a decent partnership.

    We never seem to

...or perhaps it just feels like that! We've got to wait until 30th November (not that it's etched in my mind lol) for revenge against the Jerks.

I'm trying to ignore the pictures btw - suffice to say that it's impossible.

She'd have Health & Safety on her like a flash - posture's all wrong when bending, the ties on her stockings are liable to get caught in office equipmant - as is the frayed cotton on her skirt. And don't get me started on the heels!

My worry is he'll get injured

..most of his work is done outside the box with short sharp bursts of speed - a hamstring waiting to happen imo.

Not many goals have come from others as yet - and I think it's 5 of McCormacks have been pens.

Won't hold my breathe for Eddie Johnson to come good though. Poor is not the word.

I think because it's been so long

Since we've beaten Wednesday & Donny, the victories have tasted that bit sweeter.
