    Not so much if I'm honest. I tried listening to Emperor but couldn't really get into it. I don't mind Deathspell Omega but generally I can't get on with it.

    I don't really like metal with any symphonic or classical elements to it.

    That's understandable. It's definitely harder to get into then death metal is, and quite often hit or miss.
    Do you frequent Damnation Festival in Leeds? A lot of black and post metal that you might not get along with, but there's enough death and doom metal incorporated.

    I was keen to go last year as Carcass were on the bill but overall there weren't enough bands to make it worth my while.

    Might do Bloodstock this year though.

    Yeah, Carcass played a good set to be fair. Shall be seeing them again at Bloodstock.
    How were Decapitated a few weeks ago? Looking forward to seeing them too.

    Excellent apart from I can't make my mind up about the vocalist. He's not as good their previous two vocalists but the guitarist, Vogg, was on top form.
