Decent laiker, not sure there's a need for him as things stand though. He'd have his work cut out getting in the team ahead of Dawson, Perkins and Big Kelv.
So that's pretty much all of our glorious 2010/11 ex midfield looking for new clubs? Did any of em do owt at all?? Vaz Te got an important goal but that's about it. It's nice to sit back and say sod the lot of em.
cmon he would be a top player, i dont think he would struggle at all to get in our side. our midfield is good but these are the types of players uv gotta take in order to move onto the next level.
Do you think Etuhu is better than Drinkwater? Danny Drinkwater being the lad who Leicester paid £1.5 million for and played every week for the side that finished in the Play Offs.
Probably. I was just saying he is far better than Dawson. I'm sure he dropped out of favour at Leicester last season. Hence the reason he's on the transfer list. I bet they don't get back what they paid for him.
Played 46 games. Seems pretty consistent to me. And he's better than Etuhu. Miles, miles better than Etuhu.
I know several Leicester fans. Drinkwater was their best player til January (sound familiar?) and then fell away as did the rest of their team. They seem to think it was mainly that Pearson wanted him to be more creative and his game struggled. Thought he was a good solid foil for Perkins and Butterfield. I'd say he's a more technically talented player than our current midfield (apart from Mellis) but like so many former players he's now out of our price range after his "big" move and would I upset the midfield that did so well consistently from Jan last year? Not sure I would.
I think Etuhu definitely IS better than Drinkwater. He will shine next season, you watch. Will be best holding CM in the Champ, will win BFC player of the year and finish in the Champ team of the year You mark my words (or make me eat them)
I'm with Dys on balance. Thought Drinkwater was excellent for us. But I also think Ethuhu is too. They're both quality. Would fit well together too
I'd have him back in a heartbeat. Made our midfield tick, no coincidence that after he left our form massively declined.
