sinclairs wonder goal, look at reds fans behind goal, shows what we used to be like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3zt9YInIu0
Great goal but... ...I remember that season - on Sky and the various football highlight shows on telly it was shown time and time and time and time and time and time again. This carried on for at least two or three seasons - greatest goal competitions, FA Cup highlights / reviews etcetera etcetera. Brian Howards goal against Cardiff however - blink and you missed it on the telly coverage. Two very similar and fantastic goals... On The Championship / Sky's Football League Review they were touting Robinson's goal against us on Setdi as goal of the season?!?! It were good but not that good! I think you're only allowed to score "goal of the season" if you're a "big" club player scoring against a "little" or "unfashionable" club... Anyway - the doctor says if I keep taking my medication I should be OK - the paranoia and waves of frustration will abate over time...
Well I was there and it is on of the best goals I have ever seen. The coverage does not do it justice. You had to be there to appreciate!
RE: Well I was there same here, one of the only oposition goal's that i have stood up and applauded, fantastic goal.
RE: Well I was there still think their 2nd goal was offside, he deffo played the ball forwards, might try and challenge that in Court of Human rights, I was distraught for months, LOL
RE: Well I was there dont think I really should be on computer after several pints of Tetleys in the club , it makes me talk ******
Fair point... ...and one I shan't argue with except to say that I felt the same way about Howard's the other week and Robinson's the other Setdi didn't even come close... Yet one gets touted as goal of the season the other gets touted as simply a personal best. My point wasn't so much about Sinclair's goal but the biased way in which such goals are reported...
P.S. In my defence... I've stood up and applauded many opposition goals so it isn't just a case of them scoring against us...
