Mr Craig Davies now at Preston on loan. Suppose its not that far away and i don't think he was getting a game.
davies was never that good here, boltons scouts want sacking,in fact they are probably one of the main reasons that club is up to the nakkers in debt.
What about that Emile Sinclair signing for Northampton in league 2! Did he even laik for us when he came on loan? Can't remember and it was only last season!
not even scored for em by all accounts although i dont trust the article - they dont even know where bolton signed him from http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25988056
I wish him good luck. A decent lad was Craig, whose head was turned and he wasn't 'in' the Hillcroft cliqué so took the chance at Bolton. It didn't work out, but I'd suggest he hardly got a fair crack there. Good luck to the bloke. No bitterness from me.
I liked Craig Davies. Thought he was a great centre forward. Not a fan of Keith Hill, but I thought he handled Davies really well and brought him on a hell of a lot. He was three times the player when he left us than when he arrived. However, that last month or so, when he'd decided to move on, he just gave up. Really disappointing, I thought he was better than that.
I'm not bitter mate, I liked him but his attitude before he left was downright abysmally so I couldn't care less about him now.
The one attribute I like in a player is having a good attitude. I'm afraid Craig Davies didn't have this. You can have skill, goal scoring ability, strength, etc........but if you've a bad attitude, then you never know what your getting from one game to the next. The amount of clubs he has played for, possibly supports my argument.
He had a good spell at Chesterfield and BFC with goal : game ratio, but done nothing at Bolton. I just didn't like his attitude.......a better attitude would have made him a better player, in my opinion.
To be fair his goalscoring record at all his clubs is fairly consistent. Even at Bolton 7 starts and 4 goals though he has been sub on loads of occasions. He came he mostly did ok with a good goals return and massive improvement. We got him for nowt and got ok money for him that we eventually spent on the much better COG. He did let himself down towards the end but it would appear that there were loads of factors involved. I don't wish him I'll. He's gone to a decent club with ambitions that I've always had a soft spot for so I hope he does ok.
Who was it said, "He can trap the ball further than I can Kick it". Whoever it was surely meant Craig Davies.
Davies scored plenty of goals for us, but then he did have awesome service. On the flipside we had Ryan Tunnacliffe on loan and he's earned himself a permanent move to Fulham.
