Another point on free school meals

    It should be illegal for schools (and private companies running schools) to make a profit on food and drink that they sell to school children

    Good luck finding any company who'll do it without making profit.

    I agree though. Only way is to nationalise the industry, i.e. not gonna happen.

    It seems to me that there is a lot of cake being both had and eaten by the private companies running schools. If they are private and allowed to make a profit then they can't at the same time have their meals funded. Actually I don't understand how the **** we have allowed education of kids to be privatised in the first place, its madness

    It is for local authority schools isn't it? Ours don't make a profit.
