Sorry but trying to make things easier. Some seats just released in East Upper block 14 ( less than 300 left in home areas)
Sales cease at 1.30 pm tomorrow. Subject to availability.
Approx five hundred "collection " tickets still not picked up. Do not leave it till 4PM tomorrow.!!!
When sales cease at 1.30pm box office will remain open to help with tickets for collection as well as club store.
All available turnstiles will be open. Please consider using different ones. Many queue fifty deep when empty turnstiles are around the corner. This in particular happens at RHS of Ponte End for Upper East tickets when there are plenty of empty turnstiles just around East Stand Corner.
Everybody is trying to get you in before Kick OFF.

Redfearns Bar is open from 1.30 Sky game Championship Playoff. Guest interview is Dale Tonge (played in our last playoff final)
Raffle prizes Framed Scowen shirt, signed Hammill replica shirt and others.
    One hundred and fifty max.

ray, can you get some specific detail from the club please, as to why there will be around 6,000 empty seats tomorrow. lots of speculation around why these seats haven't been made available, and indeed whether or not they ever will. i'd like to know who made the decision and why. cheers

You know Ben never avoids an issue. I'm sure in due course an informative response will be made.
I don't think we would have sold an extra six thousand tickets but we hope for many bigger games in the future and we have to plan accordingly.

Seconded. It's a complete and utter disgrace that the club are penalised in this cack-handed, ill-thought out manner. A crass, completely unnecessary decision by SYP that needs challenging with everything the club have got. Send those *******s a bill for lost revenue. Not in any way the club's fault, but it's the club that will get the stick from fans who might miss out. SYP making us look like complete chumps. Shame on all involved.

You're right, we wouldn't, but I think there's a point of principle involved here. I think it's a poor show when opportunities for more punters are limited due to an overzealous local police force. There's no need for this match to be all ticket, there's no need for large parts of the West Stand to be unavailable. I'm not too fussed about splitting the North Stand, but all sections in three sides of the ground should have been made available to home fans right up to kick off.

I'm not angry like some folks are, but I do find it really bizarre.

Have you raised the issue then?

And when we regularly get between 2-3k pay on day supporters for league games I don't think we'd have been far off!

There are a number of big issues annoying fans about the game so i'm surprised a statement hasn't been released already just to clear up why it looks like our club is run by SYP with regards to all ticket, unopened section, forced to hand over more away tickets, not serving alcohol at half time in the away end etc. Too many issues to sweep it under the carpet.

Can I just point to the fact Wednesday are allowed in all 4 areas of their ground, including the bottom tier of the away end. Whats the crack.

Yep, Wednesday fans are a few rows away from Brighton in the same stand, which just happens to be the unsafest stand in the history of the game.

The doublest of double standards from SYP.

Like I said in another post if we are not obliged to do as SYP say then we should politely but firmly tell them to mind their own business.

Then is it a BFC decision... and not the SYP ?

Surly it doesn't matter if we could sell an extra 600 or 6000, those seats should be available. I was sat 10 yards from Wigan fans at the weekend. Absolute nonsense that fans are too close.

we could at least open the upper section of the west stand

If its a police decision it becomes a massive point of principle as to who controls the club's operations. Ive always believed the police were there to serve not to dictate.
