Another star is born? One for orsenkart !

Cunco got up to win the 2pm at Newbury, the first foal of the mighty frankel to hit the racecourse

 

Looked very impressive to me. Didn't win by far, but certainly with something in hand. The male line is absolutely awesome - Frankel, Galileo, Saddler's Wells, Northern Dancer. You go back to the 70's when Robert Sangster teamed up with John Magnier and the legendary Vincent O'Brien to first invest in the Northern Dancer line. What a move that was - and it changed the landscape of European breeding. Many more Frankel progeny to come, and no doubt whatsoever many, many more top class horses.
