It's being handled well I see.

Leaks to the press and no reassurances for the management team.

    Good work all round.

It's all regurgitated bull ****. No game = slow news week.

Same as Flitcroft's interview yesterday was just his post match from Ipswich.

Think they do need a press officer though...

Very lazy journalism to create new news where there is none.

The star seem to be based completely around rehashing stories that are several days/weeks old.

Why bother printing something that is 1-2 weeks old and includes no additional valid comment(s).

It's just rubbish, and as stated in earlier post, we are in a quiet period due to international matches........simply filling a page with regurgitated cr@p !!!

How can they give reassurances to Hill? Cryne wants to sell, he can stipulate he'd like the management team to stay in place but ultimately it would be up to the new owners (if we get any)

    i particularly like the
"Manager Hill and assistant boss Flitcroft both declined to comment yesterday on growing suggestions that they would be unhappy to work with potential new owners who may have an agenda different to theirs." part.

Could it be because theres nothing currently to comment about ?

Why the hell would any manager with half a brain declare themselves to be unhappy untl they have even had he chance to sit down with new owners, if it ever happens.

Still at least it makes a change to having a story about the massives as there back page lead

After reading that the Fans need to stand up and be counted after all it is our club come win, loose or draw. I personally would like Hill and Flicker sign an exstensive long length deal at Barnsley to give us chance of further developing our youth system and having a team and club that is sat on firm foundations. Barnsley earnt a reputation of hiring and firing managers almost every season after our premiership exit and then administration. I beleive and stand here today sceptical of foreign investors. Barnsley has a population of around 250,000 this should be our fan base. The club should be built on its supporters and the money from the club should be based on turnstyle revenue not been bank rolled by a consortium that when finished playing with its new toy leaves the club in financial ruin with players of poor quality and a manager that the supporters would hate.

The club god willing should be owned by a local businessman or women that can enhace the club as a business and not as a toy or somwhere to spend there pocket money. Our club deserves financial prosperety built on firm foundations with the academy, turnstyle revenue and merchandising not to mention other potential financial streams been utalised. With financial prosperity comes profit and with profit comes reinvestment where we can preserve our club and move us forward as a business and on the pitch aswell. Our club needs to be accessible for local business to hold confrences and the such this would be our club playing its part in stimulating our economy here in barnsley and not lining a foreign investors pockets back in a tax havean.

Press speculation during International window, no more than that.
