Ok I haven't done the maths on this, but someone cleverer than me can do that:-
We need to get more fans into Oakwell for the run in. We need more season ticket holders. We need to make more noise at Oakwell.
So maybe the club could look at some kind of "investment incentive scheme"
    i.e.
    If the Reds get promoted:
All season ticket holders plus anyone who attended say the last 6 home games of the season get a discount next season (only if we go up). Those who attended last 6 only get this pro rata, but nevertheless get a discount. This way we all have an additional incentive to get behind the team, and make some noise. I also think there would be some mileage in reducing match by match prices til the end of season but haven't thought of way this would work re season ticket holders. What the club would lose in financing the rewards they would easily get back via promotion. Just a thought like...

Certainly like the sound of that

Anything that helps encourage more people down to Oakwell can only benefit the football club .

I really wish they would look at schemes like this.

The pricing policy has certainly backfired on them this season and surely they will learn from that - one would hope so anyway.

Certainly agree with that. I find it amazing that we can be 5th in the table, play like we did on TV at Forest and still only get 8000 for the next home game. Will the fans of a few years ago ever come back now even if prices are reduced?

I think it's a serious cause for concern.

With gates of 8.000 average, we are only jut breaking even and it leaves nothing for expansion and investment.

We can't keep relying on Mr Cryne
